January 2019

Members,

Happy New Year to you. I am looking forward to 2019 and the wonderful opportunity to serve you better than ever through our convenient locations, outstanding Call Center and more product offerings.

We are fortunate to have the best Board of Directors in the country, and their tireless mission is to find more ways to give back to you, our membership. I am proud to announce that we paid a year-end dividend and rebate once again. Board members voted to double the dividend for this year and continue to promote healthy savings behaviors. We have paid back more than $4.5 million dollars in rebates and dividends since 2000 and remain one of the few credit unions in the country to provide this valuable benefit.

As we look to the year ahead we have quite a few new product and service offerings in the pipeline to better serve you. These include:

  • Online Account Opening (First Quarter of 2019)
  • Borrow and Save Loan Program (Third Quarter)
  • Bank at Work Program (Second Quarter)
  • Expanded Mortgage Offerings (Fourth Quarter)
  • Two New Scholarships (Given at our Annual Meeting)
  • Affinity Card Program (First Quarter)
  • FAA Furlough Program (First Quarter)

We are especially excited to launch our Affinity Card program. This initiative serves our faith-based and educational communities. Through this program your church or local school can put their logo on our debit card, and then at the end of the quarter, the organization will receive 5% of our net interchange from every swipe of the card. There is no cost to the organization and they can use the money for any program they wish. We know that our churches and schools do so much for our communities and they are always in need of additional funds. This is just one more way True Sky Credit Union can give back in a valuable way.

In closing, I want to thank each of you, our members, for your loyalty and support. Credit unions are a not-for-profit financial cooperative created for the benefit of our membership. We stand ready to serve you in 2019 and beyond.

Sincerely,

Sean M. Cahill
President / CEO
